Just a note for close friends and family who know my Grandpa Ralph Walters. He had the hardest decision of his life to make between staying on dialysis with little quality of life due to his two strokes and heart attack after colon cancer surgery or to leave this earth and start a new life in heaven. To sum it up, he is being moved from Knute Nelson subacute to his home in Sauk Centre on Saturday to be with Grandma and start hospice. We do not have any real time frame of how long he has left. Right now for my grandmother, parents and I forever would not be long enough. But we are also grateful that he has lived 87 years with almost no pain or health problems until the past couple of months since he was diagnosed with cancer. Please pray for him and our family. Our family is so small, my dad being the only child and I the only grandchild. I have no idea how to even begin to fathom life here without the "rock of our family" as my father so rightly states.
