Just a note to dads and moms ... Please take time with your child or children. You dont have to be with your child mom or dad to spend quality time with your child. A step parent is good but the biological parent in their life is great! Biological parents - dont get upset when your child calls someone else mom or dad. Dont get upset when your child makes it big and dont acknowledge you. Dont get upset when your child doesnt wont to hang out with you because he or she doesnt know you. Dont get upset when you are not included in their graduation or wedding plans. Dont get upset when your child doesnt want to talk to you on the phone or spend the weekend with you when you finally have time for him or her. Dont make promises that you cant keep because children has the memory of an elephant! No one has to tell your child anything about you. Your actions speak louder than words! Dont tell Facebook how much you love your child or children when you dont visit or call - tell him or her by your actions and then post it on Facebook. Dont blame the step parent for loving your child. Love is action!
