Just a quick note to share with you an oped in todays Los Angeles Times (below) that takes on the health insurance companies deceptive arguments and advertising against Prop 45 -- which will allow California to reject excessive health insurance rates. By now you have probably seen the insurance companies misleading No On 45 advertising blanketing television and radio. As voting by mail begins this week I wanted to set the record straight. Without Prop 45 there is simply no guarantee that the health insurance we are required to buy will be affordable.
