Just a quick thought... we that make music our life style usually love and support each other. I am always very excited to see and hear excellent drummers... as I know many killer musicians personally. Most of us do what we do, love it and move on... we dont compare today with yesterday very often. I am inspired by people that are following what is in their heart... musically speaking... on all instruments. Competition is not really my thing (for those that may be wondering). A few names of drummers that I love but dont talk about much are Ringo Starr, Charlie Watts, Mike Portnoy, Neil Pert, Bernard Perdie, Mike Mangini, Bill Bruford... zillions of others.
