Just a quick update. This initial round of light winter precipitation is nothing more than a bit of nuisance sleet, snow, light freezing rain and rain. The important thing to note is that this initial round of precipitation will help cool temperatures with temperatures falling back into the upper 20s and lower 30s over the next hour or two. Also as a reminder the Ice Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisories dont go into effect until 4:00 PM. Thats when we expect temperatures to start to dip back below freezing.
