Just a quick update on my property line dispute and my neighbour building a fence on my property. I decided to go and get a clearer photo copy of the original survey of my property. New printers are awesome. I always knew he was on my property just because of an existing fence post in concrete which is mine. What I didnt know is that that my fence post is in 3.75 feet from my property line. Since my neighbour decided to put his fence in and connect to my old fence post, thats puts him 3.75 feet over my property line. I laughed pretty good on that one. Heres the even more funny part. He has a huge deck built and it is within a foot of my property line. He is wanting to build a roof on it but with an overhang on the roof, it will be on my property too. Do you know what that means? It means no roof or move the deck and Im going to check and see if that deck is legal to be within a foot of the property line. I thought the rule was 2 feet. The fence however should be coming down any day now. Ill keep ya posted. . Surveyors are my new best friend. haha
