Just a quick update to let everyone know how our brave soldier is getting along....... He has started back to school!....just a few days a week for now, till he gets back into the swing of things! Having a few problems with retaining information, and the odd words/sentences coming out a bit scrambled, also issues with anger mood swings, (was told to expect this)! 6-12 months for the brain to settle! physio going very well, had a special brace made for his arm/hand, and orthotics made for his shoes, gaining strength and muscle tone everyday, all in all hes doing great!! Seems like weve been back from Cleveland ages, even though its only just over a month, our lives are most definitely on the up and up! So pleased.... Having lots of help and support from my family, my sister in law Sue is here for 5 weeks, she is just the best! absolutely great with Jake, so grateful for her help and kindness. Few pictures here of Jake doing physiotherapy in the pool, others of him just enjoying himself swimming like a dolphin! Lol....
