Just a quick vid of how our new fretboard finishing technique here at sabre. No polishing compound, no wax. Just elbow grease and some very very fine abrasives. This is a true, durable mirror finish achieved in birdseye maple with nothing else added. We have developed a technique of reliably raising and leveling the grain with progressively finer abrasives to result in a finish that rivals lacquer for sheen and ebony for sheer playability.
