Just a reminder --- In life, all of us have to become one of three things: a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean. If you place a potato into hot, boiling water, the hot water will change the potato into becoming soft. If you place an egg into hot, boiling water, the hot water will change the inside of the egg into becoming hard. But, if you place a coffee bean into hot, boiling water, the hot water will not change the coffee bean. Instead, the coffee bean will change the hot water. Likewise, hot water (challenges, problems, obstacles, etc.) comes into each one of our lives. But, as hot water comes into our lives, we do not have to allow the hot water to change us into becoming hard and angry, or soft and weak. Instead, with God’s help, we can change the hot water into opportunities to learn and grow stronger because every challenge, every problem, every obstacle, every form of hot water is really an opportunity to learn and grow stronger.
