Just a reminder! The fourth early release day for Quality Instructional Learning Time (QILT) will take place on Wednesday, January 7. Students will be released at the following times: All elementary campuses: 12:45 p.m. All secondary campuses: 1:55 p.m. Buses will run when students are released. Comal ISD’s early release days are designed to provide teachers with common planning time, where decisions result in high-quality instruction. Teachers are able to collaborate in teams to share instructional methodologies and align requisite skills from one grade level to the next. Most importantly, the collaborative planning process provides teachers with the opportunity to share engaged learning activities, which will increase academic achievement. Additional early-release Wednesdays are scheduled for February 4, and March 4.
