Just a reminder for all your lovely folks...on the 7th September Light House will be proud to bring to you a taste of #American #Heritage with #Americana All-Dayer!! A sure to be fun filled day and the schedule of the day itself is as follows :- 10am – 4pm My #Vintage Events presents a Vintage and Americana Fair, featuring Americana and 1950s stock. (Courtyard/Atrium) Burgers, Hot Dogs and themed snacks served through the day. (Lock Works Cafe Bar) 10am: Graceland Breakfast: Doughnut & Coffee (Gallery/ Reception) 10.30am – 12.10pm : Screening of ‘Jailhouse Rock’(Main cinema) – Breakfast and Ticket £6 advance. (The fashion show advertised on our listing sheet is unfortunately no longer taking place). 2.00pm – 4.30pm ‘West Side Story’ matinee. Tickets £6.00 or £10 for double bill of films with breakfast. TBC time – Bruce Springsteen and I -Bruce Springsteen Documentary – watch this space for confirmation! 5.00pm – 8pm Las Vegas Weddings Our Balcony Gallery will be transformed into a Little White Chapel, where between 5pm and 8pm, couples can have their own vow renewals or engagements/ special occasions with Elvis, in a private ceremony with seating for wedding guests. The 10 minute ceremony will include vows (bring your own or have our own special Elvis vows), time for photos and we’ll play you your own song to close the ceremony. The ceremony is £50, all profits go towards new furniture and essential maintenance of Light House, which is a registered charity. Each couple receive a voucher for two cinema tickets, and we can supply sparkling wine and glasses for the ceremony at £15 per bottle (around 6 glasses). A booking form page is attached.Americana Wedding Booking Sheet 3pm -7pm Central Perk Live Lounge (Lock Works) Some of your favourite Open Mic and Under 18s live lounge singers will be performing their favourite acoustic American songs as a background to your afternoon. Line up to be announced! 8pm – 10.30pm Knoxville Highway (Courtyard / Atrium) We go out West for a evening of classic country songs, from Johnny Cash to The Eagles, great for dancing, listening and drinking with. With our real ale bar, lagers and cocktails plus songs of juke joints, truck driving, love and loss, roads and railroads, this is the perfect end to our day, with the bar open until midnight. So spread the word folks and let is get ourselves ready for a little Americana!!!
