Just a reminder for the public Cavan spca is only a small group of volunteers,who voluntary give their time to animal welfare.Each & everyone of us can only do our best.Tina is the voluntary inspector for Cavan Spca and runs the rescue at her own home,where she cares for many dogs,cats, horses & donkeys.We also have great foster homes who are always on hand to take in dogs that need to be placed in to foster homes until forever homes are found for the animals.All of them either have full time jobs,part time jobs & have young families who they need to give their time to also. If you are trying to get in contact with a member of Cavan Spca and dont get a answer straight away please be patient,we cant have the phones in our hands 24/7.So again please be patient.If you contact us through pm on Facebook,please be patient if you dont get a reply straight away,you will get a reply within a few hrs,at present we only have one volunteer answering pms on facebook who also has a full time job. If anyone wants their dogs taken in by Cavan Spca you must contact Tina first,and we would appreciate if you do not land at the doors of our foster homes and ask them to take your pets in.Remember they are all private homes doing as best they can.Everything needs to be clarified with Tina first. Remember none of us get paid,its all voluntary & our own expense eg Phone credit,petrol etc etc.Every penny that is raised and donated to Cavan Spca goes towards the animals in our care. Thank You.
