Just a reminder for those who are going to Hajj this year! When you genuinely make intention to go to Hajj, it means you will be visitng the jamaraat where you will be doing the ritual of stoning the devil pillar.. that means you have declared war on shaytan from the moment you made intention to go to Hajj.... Question? If someone declared war on you and they cant see you but you can see them and you know their weakness what would you do to them?? This is exactly what shaytan will be trying to do to you to spoil your Hajj. And Shaytan will come to you from every angle possible and every person whom you know and dont know while you wont even realize it! Do you think you can declare war on Shaytan and he will welcome you with open arms and flowers and invite you for tea and biscuits while you cant see him? No i dont think so. To be successful in Hajj is to be very very patient and say very very little and only if you have to, even if there happens to be an earthquake on the trip let alone the gossip you hear from some of the hijjaaj/pilgrims! Becareful and guard your tongue and ears... be very very patient and dont be in hurry...be very kind to everyone those you know and those you dont know on the trip for the sake of Allah and reap the rewards ... And try and stay in constant thikir and dont harm other pilgrims, Remember they are your brothers and sisters not strangers on a holiday trip, and when it becomes squashy during tawaf around the Kaba, remember you are in Allahs washing machine cleansing you from your sins Allahu A3lam! The trip is a long and hard one and very testing to the point where even the simplest of things become a nightmare in some cases, so be very patient and dont make it harder for yourself and others! May Allah swt make it easy and accepted for all who visit Allahs house this year during Hajj time and grant the rest of us who were left behind to visit next year In-Sha-Allah Ameen!
