Just a reminder of all the challenge points. Plus the two new ones added from the vlog! 1 point- Spend 10 mins a day doing something for you (excluding watching TV and anything to do with household/family responsibility) ex- reading a book, dancing to your favorite songs, painting, drawing, crafts.... *Me time is so important to your MaE health and we often neglect it* 2 points- Walk into a place with your shoulders are back, your head parallel to the floor, eyes forward, and a smile on your face *body language effects how you feel lets try to present and feel as confident as we can* 2 points- Go to bed 1 hour before youd normally get to bed. Record your average bed time last week and go to bed 1 hour before that time. *A good nights rest helps refresh our mind a helps us by providing an optimum work space* 3 points- Tell a trusted friend something youve never shared with them to help them understand you better (info needs to be completely new nothing theyve heard before) *telling a trusted friend something new helps to create tighter bonds, resulting in improved MaE health* 4 points- Do something out of your comfort zone. Whether its going shopping by yourself, saying no when youd usually say yes or vise versa, do something silly in front of someone you wouldnt normally do it in front of... (Just has to be something that makes your heart beat a little faster) *stepping outside of your comfort zone helps you learn to trust and rely on yourself a little more, building self confidence and improving your MaE health. 5 points- Do something completely selfless (doesnt matter what it is, big or small, you just need to not benefit from the action at all) *giving of ourselves makes us happy, Acts 20:35 improving our MaE health* 25 points- Start a new hobby! *hobbies are stress relievers and have so many benefits to our MaE health* 5 points- For each day we involve ourselves in our hobbies! *Extra credit* 1 point- each time a negative thought occurs in your mind, stop it as soon as possible and replace it with a compassionate thought. Example- (thinking) gosh, that was a stupid thing to do! Im such a loser, idiot.... (As soon as your aware of the negative thought replace it with a positive) Gosh, that was a stupid thing to do (stop) but hey everyone does stupid stuff every now and then... *lets stop abusing ourselves, wed never talk to a friend the way we talk to ourselves. Lets work on being a friend to ourselves as well* The new challenges! 10 points- find someone at your congregation who youve not really got to know and invite them in service and learn at least 1 new thing about them. (If your not able to go in service this week) Talk to a someone after the meeting who you havent got a chance to get to know and learn at least 1 new things about them. (If you dont go to meetings) someone new at work 15 points- Visit with an elderly one, spending at least 15 mins with them. Bring them a treat!
