Just a reminder that November 1st is the final deadline to complete the Service Academy Nomination Application. This will be my last opportunity to nominate you as your Eighth District Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives. Nominations are made for the U.S. Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, CO), the U.S. Military Academy (West Point, NY), the U.S. Naval Academy (Annapolis, MD), and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point, NY). The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation. Students interested in pursuing an education at one of the nation’s prestigious service academies should contact David Mroz in my office at (517) 702 -8000.
