And that’s the simple story behind the new Robin Zander Band, comprised of Cheap Trick frontman Zander, drummer Steve Luongo, guitarist Mark Hitt and bassist Larry Hobbs. Theres no precise road map set for The Robin Zander Band; members are just eager to take the stage and see what emerges. We’ll just go wherever it takes us, Zander says. Their set naturally includes Zanders solo material, a few Cheap Trick hits and also nods to Luongos past touring days with The Who bassist John Entwistle. Add to that RZBs passion for real rock and roll and the stage is set for an anything goes performance including special guest artists.
