LOCAL BUSINESSES TEAM UP TO HELP DRIVE SPCA CLOSER TO NEW SHELTER GOAL The Prince Albert SPCA, Lakeland Ford – Ford Canada, Northern Lights Casino and P.A. Brewing are working together to drive the New Leash on Life Building Campaign closer to its goal. Saturday June 8 from 11am to 6pm in the Northern Lights Casino parking lot, residents can take a test drive of their favourite ford vehicle and help to raise money for the new SPCA shelter. For every eligible test drive, Ford Canada will donate $20 to the New Leash on Life Campaign (up to a maximum of $7,000). For every donation of $10 or more to the SPCA building fund, Northern Lights Casino will provide $10 free slot machine play for the day and P.A. Brewing will provide a coupon good for a ½ pint of beer. The SPCA is hoping to raise up to $10,000 towards the new shelter building fund. The SPCA needs approximately $780,000 to meet its $3.2 million goal. To date, the SPCA has completed two phases of their three phase plan: Paw Print Inn, Central Bark and has started construction on phase three, which is the new Shelter.
