Just a short message to share with all readers of Apiculture without Borders Apiculture without Borders is one of the three most important magazines in the sector. We are not going to say whether we are first, second or third. As you know yourself which is our position, reach and function we accomplish in the global sector. Apiculture without Borders is something special, it is like a library or a public park. It is like a temple for the mind. It is a place where all of us could go and think, learn and share our knowledge with others. And the most important: IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN FREE. Google and Yahoo have thousand of servers and employees. As our journal is free, they use our information, as well as public institutions, libraries, associations and schools. Distribution is good and the reach is better, but as we are an independent media and reject corporatism with any group or company, they do not publish with us, because they want us to be tendentious or have a media with different approaches. WE HAVE ALWAYS SAID THAT WE ARE NOT THAT WAY. We have been working hard during the last 6 years, and I think we are reaching our mission: from the very first moment we have said: INTERNATIONAL APICULTURE must be for ALL and without BORDERS. Much effort has been put into achieving our mission; this year we have 8 dedicated servers sending, 24 hours a day, our free eJournal to each one of our registered readers. You know us, we have sent our 71st eJournal and nobody had to pay anything. If each person who would read this, as well as all the registered people in our data base, donate (let us say 10 U$s for just one time), we could include and improve more servers, or we could pay the services of graphic designers, administrative tasks and those who have to permanently monitoring the distribution of our eJornal, and all the necessary expenditure in travels in order to reach reliable information in countries dedicated to the apiculture. But some people are unable or unwilling to donate, moreover, some say or think "let my neighbour or other beekeeper do so, as it is anonymous, nobody knows about it, and I can even say that I help or donate". To those people we say "it does not matter, we hope our eJournal be of interest as well as our work and reach" We know that after reading this humble letter, many or almost everyone will think differently to those. To those who feel "included or members" in this PROGRESS IN APICULTURE, and are interested in collaborating with a donative, can send your data, country of residence and telephone number to the following e-mail: apiculturasinfronteras@hotmail, we will be in touch shortly, offering the best and the most safely manner for your donation arrives at its destination successfully Thank you, very much yours truly. Rodrigo González, his friends and collaborators will appreciate this letter to be read.
