Just a shoutout, just for the hell of it, because we appreciate you, to Rafael Fierro and the entire crew at F8 - 1192 Folsom - for giving Underground Nomads, the local world music and belly dance communities, a home to join together at every week. I have personally never experienced a dance club venue so supportive of community and the arts since we were doing Dhamaal, Surya Dub and Electric Vardo at Club Six (shoutout to Angel Cruz for being a huge support to us for many years). We have had a strong start to 2015, a littlw over a year in, and are looking forward to building and growing further. If you havent had a chance to come see us, please do. We have moved to earlier hours, starting at 8pm, due to many rewuests since it is a school night. Tonight we start performances at 10pm, with 2 sets. Next week and forward, performances will start at 9. Tonight, we have DJ Neptune Merrick on the decks, along with Rafael. Chexk out undergroundnomads for weekly lineups.
