Just a small rant: This is my job, not a hobby. My sole source of income is through my job. I work my tail off with only myself as the employee/boss & I do not have any other help to work for me. I have a set business schedule 11-7 Wed through Sun, with days off like every other hard working American. I work long hours to try and ensure my business stays open and clients are happy, but I am only 1 person and sometimes health issues, time constraints and life Events occur that become more of a priority than my job. Ive had to cut back my hours to part time due to my health issues. I simply ask for understanding, nothing more. I do not like to get verbal harassment or threats when delays occur, or a delivery date may be delayed due to an unforeseen illness or vendor issues. I do not have a spouse or second source of income to support myself. I am working two careers/businesses to pay my bills, feed myself and make sure Im not homeless. I dont threaten my clients when they delay payments, or reschedule sessions. So please treat me with the same respect you ask for as a client and try to be understanding If something has to be changed. I am going through a few health issues this year, along with a couple major life changing events. I am working still in between this and I value and try to work with my clients, I would appreciate the same in return. I dont believe in the option of closing my doors simply because of a few set backs. Ive worked too hard to give up my dream. Thank you.
