Just a thought: Theres a reason why non-spiritual/religious movements NEVER work with black people. Study your own people! We are spiritual people first, black people second. And in between being spiritual and black, we affiliate with our tribal connections. Think about it: even the slave rebellions were spiritually based. From Nat Turner to Denmark Vessey to the Haitian Revolution. The civil rights movement: spiritually based. Garveys movement: spiritually based (One GOD, one aim, one destiny). Nation of Islam: spiritually based. Moorish Science Temple, Five Percent Nation, etc. The list goes on. Thats not something youll be taking away from black people any time soon. Its ingrained within our DNA. Once you can accept that, youll see why any attempts to move us forward absent of religion is doomed to fail from the jump.
