Just a wee reminder for after this weeks coming race (and any other for that matter) “Post Race Service” Remember how many times you decided to do a bit of gardening work or that job that needed doing from a ladder?? Do you also remember the next day when you tried to get out of bed and every bloody muscle had “seized up”?? Well that’s how some, if not most of your team are going to feel like this morning. Best thing for aching muscles; “Hot Bath” If you are going to give the team a bath today, if at all possible make sure it’s hot!! And when I say hot I mean hot. If you can put your hand in it comfortably it’s NOT hot enough!! You would be totally surprised at what tempreture pigeon can enjoy a good soak. Not only will it help ease the locked muscles it will get rid of all kinds of crap and scale from the feathers and body. The result will be ten fold that of a cold bath, the more steam the better. !WARNING! and heed this; Whilst your birds enjoy their bath they will be open to attack from Mr. Hawk. He will spot them frolicking and knows they are vulnerable when wet, especially so when the water is hot. So stay close by whilst they bath n chill after. Make your presence seen and if your lucky he will stay away. Its the Little Things you do!!!!!!!!!
