Just a while ago Wole Soyinka spoke on the unresolved national - TopicsExpress

Just a while ago Wole Soyinka spoke on the unresolved national question in Nigeria. Then Pius Adesanmi spoke on the failures of Nigeria to evolve into a viable nation. And now Femi Fani-Kayode has spoken on the obstacles faced by Yoruba ethnic nationality in the path of its dreams and the pitfalls involved in the process of actualizing such dreams which conveniently dovetails what he sees as the failure of Yoruba nations yearning for recognition of its power and glory by others. Although the trio have basically agreed on the need to restructure Nigeria on the basis of its ethnic configurations, Fani-Kayode is however ridiculously desperate in his diatribe. The tone of Fani-Kayodes writeup is a little bit Hitleresque, a little bit uncertain, a little bit frustrated, and a little bit lost. Beyond the usual refrain of the purity or even superiority of the Yoruba race which he consistently drums into our ears, can Fani-Kayode please tell us what the existential threat to his being is actually about?
