Just a word about this page. My hubby & I moved here from the Houston, TX area, arriving July 20th of this year. We didnt have power yet, so no water from the well! Chad Staats loaned us a pig-tail to hook the well pump up, and let us continue to use it for the week it took to get power. 5 days later, we were at our storage facility to get the Arctic Cat 700 wed bought from a gentleman who was moving back to Houston. The Cat wouldnt start (bad battery), but a young man named Ryan helped us load the ATV onto a trailer wed rented. Rain & cold didnt stop him from assisting. Just 2 weeks ago, our neighbor Dawn came over to meet us and give us very valuable information about our new neighborhood. Then, just the other day Steve West answered our request for someone to help us mount the snow plow to the ATV. He refused any payment. I just felt the need to be able to thank those whove helped us and to allow others, whove also been recipients of good deeds a way to express their appreciation to those who lent a hand, or gone out of their way to help. I expect to see many, many stories about the wonderful residents of the Mat-Su Valley.
