Just a year ago, the old Washington Elementary School sat empty and primarily unused before the purchase by First Christian Church. A little over a year later and now dubbed the Washington Christian Center, the gym has seen multiple uses from 5th Quarters, KETA school supply distribution (and the home of KETA), The Bridge Community Youth Worship services and so much more! The basement of the old school has housed The Jungle Summer Camp with 17 inaugural campers from May to August. The first floor of the school is now home to the Washington Christian Preschool Academy which starts August 9th. And the top floor has become the home of No Limits Dance and Cheer. The building is now in full use! With a new parking lot added to the front and additional parking added in the back, we will have plenty of parking spots for WCC activities and the LHS football games too! Thanks to all who have helped to support WCC and the ministry and outreach that takes place within.
