Just about everyone gets picked on at some point through out middle and high school years. I understand and accept that now after hearing about it from so many others (and experiencing it myself). But what I dont understand is this: How is it acceptable to make fun of or mess with a blind or mentally slow person? Yet, time after time I watched it happen while growing up to this girl named Autumn. My Gf said the same thing about a blind boy she went to school with...kids would trip him on purpose while he walked the hallways, hide his cane from him, etc. Its truly amazing how ignorant and downright evil some people can be. WE are supposed to do all that we can to help those less fortunate than us, not tear them apart!
