Just added to the About section of Daniels page. Not sure why its not showing. Sorry! Daniel was an amazing young man! Robin and I did Foster care and we got word that two babies needed a home. Isabell had just turned 1 and Daniel was 10 days old born 1 month premature. We brought them into our home...loved and cared for them and adopted them when Daniel was 1 yr old. We moved to Idaho and here all the opportunities were present to raise our children in healthy and very active lifestyles. When Daniel had each check-up with his doctor it was evident that he was growing and developing basic motor skills faster than most children his age. In school, starting with kindergarten, he learned quickly both in education and how to be a friend. Everyone of his teachers were pleased to have him in their classes. At the age of five Daniel started wrestling for the Kuna Wrestling Club. At his first tournament, he took 3rd and we knew we had a wrestler in the Family! Daniel quickly took to the sport and in just his 3rd year he qualified at the State tourney to represent Idaho in the Western Regional tournament. This year Daniel was in 6th grade and started wrestling for the Kuna Middle School team. The day before this wrestling season started, he had the brace removed from the broken hand he suffered in football. He started the season slow so as to not re-injure his hand and finished 8th in his weight class in the first wrestle off. By the end of the season, he had wrestled his way back up to 3rd in his weight class against 7th and 8th graders. Daniel started playing flag football when he was only 6. After 2 yrs of flag, he moved up to tackle with the pads and helmet. Daniel loved playing defense and opposing teams learned quickly that Daniel ruled his side of the line. He played defensive end and was very tall for his age. In the game this season where he broke his hand, he intercepted a pass...after the hand was broken. He went on to finish that game, but had to set out the last 3 games of the season and his team missed him being in there the help. Daniel developed of strong love of the beautiful outdoors that Idaho has to offer. His ability to learn new things quickly had him fishing like a pro. In Feb. of 2012 he won 1st in Jr. perch and 2nd in Jr. trout in the Cascade Cup Ice Fishing Derby. He loved his family and friends very much. He had so many friends from his sports and from school, but he rarely went a day without some contact with Tyler, Trey or Austin, his best Friends. He loved spending time with his family as well. Whether swimming or working out at the Nampa Rec. Center playing games at home, or cuddling with his mother watching a movie. Daniels smile and sense of humor was contagious and could brighten any room. He was taken from us way too soon and in a very.....tragic way. An entire community was shocked and saddened by the loss of our Son. We love you Daniel, you know that. And we miss you so very much....
