Just an after thought... (an idea or explanation that occurs to one after an event or decision) An ordinary day in the life of the ordinary Mrs. LJ... After a very hot and sweaty day in CDO you have completed your business... You decided to go back home to Phillips via the most convenient transportation which is the van parked in front of LKKS or proceed to Agorra terminal near Save More. You wait for about 45 minutes until it will be full of passengers. Then when you reach Carmen Hill you will begin to feel the delaying boredom because of the traffic caused by endless road repairs. Upon reaching Alae someone would tell the driver to go inside Fatima Subd. and another at Artajo Village. Then upon reaching Damilag somebody would say; Taguiban ta kuya; de mano diha, diritso, de silya, diri ra. After a few minutes, mr. driver would ask; naay PCH?, one would answer naa... then more de mano, de silya, diritso, de silya, de mano. DEARBC dayon kuya ha? ; and back to de mano, de silya, etc. Sometimes someone tells the driver, sulod ta Damilag merkado kuya ha, or pasulod sa sotelco dapit; or wherever within the Damilag vicinity. Naa pa dayon Josepine Homes. Upon reaching Phillips proper naa na pud moingon, lower corrales, or creekside then Agusan Canyon...(LJ speaking - Diri na lang ko dong; (sa tulay atbang sa Tismo res.,) lakaw na lang ko kun wala ko bug-at nga dala pa C st.) But you can not help it esp. when you are bringing heavy things with you, mapugos jud ka pagbiyo sa Agusan, swerte na lang kun walay magpahatud sa Fabrica! Naa pa dayon magpahatud luyo sa school (purok 5). Sometimes a passenger would crack a joke to the obviously tired driver;mohatud ka Mampayag dong? Hahaha!!! Katawa na lang ta ani kay naa pa diay paingon sa hospital... So; si Mrs. LJ, kay daghan man usahay dala, last na jud madrop sa St. C! But wait a mintute!!! You might think Im complaining... Absolutely No!!! Maybe you would tell me; hoy LJ, palit na lang imong service oi; arun dili na ka magreklamo diha... First, Im just being practical... Everyone of us commuters always have this same experience...But come to think of it, we are just so lucky that we are being pampered, halos ipasaka na lang ang van sa atong hagdan. Just look at the situation on a brighter side. Second, the fare is only 60.00! Its much, much more cheaper than riding your own vehicle which you would spend 500.00 or more on gasoline. Third, the irony of it all is that I do not have the capacity to buy me my own service so; I just have to make that silly grin and bear it... Fourth, let me extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the ever patient van drivers who never end up complaining. Stay as patient as you are now, ok? Well, this is only my own personal opinion...
