Just an observation from medication reviews and what I see a few - TopicsExpress

Just an observation from medication reviews and what I see a few people I personally know who carry a Bipolar diagnosis dealing with is a pretty alarmingly early onset of seasonality with the fall months approaching. This is characterized by lethargy, increased appetite, and a general flat or blunted affect. Its not just a Bipolar thing, but people with Bipolar (a chemical imbalance in the brain) and Mood Disorders definitely feel the change, as they are a bit more sensitive and a bit more wired in to the nature of things. Dont fret, friends... Dont feel alone. The ONLY way to defeat it is to recognize it, realize its out of your hands and its the chemicals in your brain, and DO SOMETHING. Pick an activity, start a hobby, write in a journal, get a therapist and talk it out. When these changes occur, you can feel like youre floating around or walking through cobwebs... Getting stuck in one negative thought after another. Break the cycle. Choose a coping skill and get busy. The only way through is THROUGH and with positive, healthy supports. Eff the dark side... youre too good for that crap.
