Just an update for everyone: Dad was taken to the emergency room last night. He had influenza with secondary pneumonia, as well as aspiration when they intubated him. We are currently in the ICU at Mercy Medical Center. Dad is in critical condition on a ventilator and dialysis. We are taking things minute by minute and hour by hour at this point. Praying that his body continues to fight, the medical professional can continue to use their knowledge to allow him to fight. We arent about to give up on this battle! Thank you all for the prayers, calls, texts and support. We are definitely being held up by those around us during this difficult time and feeling the love/support. Praying for a Christmas miracle at this point. Please keep the prayers coming, we sure do need them. Rhonda Heintz Deer
