Just an update for those who knew we were moving last week. Well, we did, and the (licensed real estate agent) landlord we were renting from did not fix anything in the month that we gave her between giving our security deposit and moving in. There were at least 5 different exposed live wires all within Briellas reach. Oh and the first night of using our brand new installed wood stove that they put in we had a chimney fire because everything about it was all wrong. Were all safe, moved our stuff out right away and got all of our money back. So now were staying at my parents house. Theyve been such a big help!! The crazy part about all of this is that we cant get anyone to do anything about this incident! Weve talked to the county, fire marshal, a licensed state electrical inspector even called the electric company saying that the electric needs to be turned off and that the house is a death trap but everyone is telling us they dont have the authority to take any kind of action. Its really sickening to think about, this lady still has the ad for the house posted. Its so stupid that its going to take someone being seriously hurt or dying for some action to take place.
