Just an update on what I posted last night. Dr. Jaishankar told us yesterday that after going over the CT scan Kenny had Tuesday and comparing it to the other CT scans and PET scans he has had since March that the tumor has shrunk some. He didn’t say how much but just from what he said, I don’t think that he is thinking that surgery is still an option at this time. He said that would be up to the surgeon, Dr. Poret, who we see next Wednesday. He also said that it appears that part of the tumor may be attached to the chest wall. Just from the way he talked, and also scheduling another appointment on July 11, after we see the surgeon it seems like Kenny will be going through another round of radiation and chemo. I don’t know what to think or how to feel. All we can do is wait till we see the surgeon Wednesday. The good news is that it still hasn’t spread and also that he had two spots on each side that are now gone. Praise the Lord for this good news. He did say that he was pleased with how this is going and that Kenny is still in the ballgame. Do they tell you this to keep you encouraged? I don’t know. Thank you again for all of your support, love and most of prayers. If I keep repeating this over and over it’s because I don’t know any other way to let you know how much we appreciate all of you and just how much it means to us. So we are still hoping and praying for a miracle.
