Just an update, the President has the power to test the constitutionality of a bill but this does not apply to money bills. The Finance Bill, is of course a money bill. That said, it is my assertion that, when you look at the attack on the line parents allowance a few posts below in conjunction with the proposed chance to the tax credit, then we are no longer looking at a single money bill but rather a developing social policy of discriminaton against single and separated families. This is something that the president, as guardian of our constitution can look into ... Im drafting something over the weekend but it will have to be substantial, accurate and correct so bare with me ...
