Just arrived back from a very long day. Stan is back on the ward and the surgeon is pleased; now starts the process of recovery. The staff and treatment at St Michaels Hospital in Hayle has been wonderful. I am quite sure, even at this early stage, the nursing staff already know they have their hands full though. As for me, however, I got stuck in Hayle when I left the hospital, my mobile also ran out of charge, I had to find a call box and missed the bus home! Still, although a tad expensive, I learnt all about bream and mullet fishing from a great local cab driver. Thank for all your kind wishes for Stan everyone. Off to pass out into a long and much needed sleep tonight :) Lots of love xx
