Just arrived home from a two day seminar organised by the Tspca Thailand where I was a guest speaker. Have a strong internet connection, so am going to steam through some e mails and get up to date as possible before I konk out. Had the best welcome home from all my darling dogs and cats, but the best was Ommo, who stood straight up, wagging her tail and walked right out to see us. She kept leaning in to me and it was such a lovely surprise. She was very weak when I left and I was very worried about her. Have a new cat that was found by Lisa McAlonie on the streets of Ayutthya. She has a badly wounded tail which is bleeding and might possibly need amputating. We also think she is pregnant. I have just put her to bed, given her a drink and fed her. She is obviously scared, but seems to be quite friendly. Am hoping to take her to the vet tomorrow. I have called her Lisa ;0) Cant wait to see all the elephants tomorrow morning - I had a wonderful weekend, meeting some inspirational people who are working hard to improve animal welfare throughout Thailand. But it sure is GREAT to be home! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend xx
