Just arrived in Pretoria, am so so ready to come home. I think I will retreat into my cave for an indefinite period after this close living - no wonder I love living on my own! Long drive today from Kruger, about six hours driving, as well as another truck breakdown. Have such a sore butt from the truck. Just having a wine after dinner and then off to bed, the first one with sheets and a blanket, with a real pillow in 21 days. Breakfast at 8 a.m. and then off to the airport around 10 for a 1.45 p.m. flight to Singapore where I have a 12 hour wait. Have booked a deluxe day room where I intend having a massage, sleeping, having laundry done and having a meal before boarding the next leg on to Auckland. Home is looking good - I miss my animals so much.
