Just as Google puts an end to Google Reader, it has added new features to Google News to compensate. There is now a box that features four-day local weather forecast, editor’s picks of stories and sports scores. These features are definitely not suitable replacements for Google Reader, but it is always nice to get weather updates of your default location. You can also set a specific location for the weather updates, and access links of other weather services such as the Weather Underground and the Weather Channel. As of now, Editor’s Picks are limited to the categories of “Technology” and “Business", but more updates are on the way. #GoogleReader #GoogleNews
