Just as I thought. Strelok was indeed pursuing independent course, fighting for the cause he believed in, at least to some degree. Putin hated it. But somehow they have managed to get him under control though at the end - he step down (was stepped down?) from the command, and his last conference contained a degree of kissing Putins ass. I am very curious how they did it. Blackmail? Threats? Personal promises/bribes? Promises to greatly increase military aid and throw Ukrainian army back, as was done at the end?
