Just as REAL TRANSPARENCY in our food means knowing what the product is ( GM or not ), how it was grown/raised ( chemical free and humanely raised ), and its origin ( local ), so must we have TRANSPARENCY IN GOVERNMENT. A1 taught me yet another lesson in what happens when strategic deception, misinformation and targets are formed behind closed doors.... long before WE hear of it. Worst case, we are governed by those obliged to do the bidding of their deep pocket funders. Best case, our government treats us as CHILDREN in that they know whats best for us...... and we are asked to speak only when spoken to. Neither scenario is good for MISSOURI. We are still waiting for info needed to decide if a recount is might be advantageous, and if there are any legal opportunities regarding the prejudicial ballot language of A1. As i mentioned last week. We need a LOT of our current legislators, and i use the term loosely, GONE! We NEED people that will NOT be swayed in service to their constituents and the TRANSPARENCY they can provide. You know, a little heads up would have been nice so that we could have CHALLENGED THE BALLOT LANGUAGE within the 10 day window legally allotted. That being said i will be looking at the races in Missouri and asking for your help in changing the political landscape. Im thinking this will be much larger than your room makeover... rather, it will be more like a demolition.....where you bang and smash, gut the room, and then put it back the WAY YOU WANT IT. I hope many of you, that worked tirelessly and were SO EFFECTIVE in the A1 campaign, will help. Our ELECTED that bowed to BIG AG MONEY AND PROMISES now are being very quiet about their support..... and with good reason. The Amendment only passed by 0.02 %! And i will go to my grave KNOWING that if the ballot language had NOT been prejudicial, and if MAYOR SLAY, of St. Louis, had NOT supported A1..... we would have won. TIME FOR CHANGE. Stay tuned.
