Just as a reminder: Arte (a French-German TV channel) is currently re-airing the documentary of Marie-Monique Robin Le moissons du futur/Die Zukunft pflanzen (english: The harvest of the future) from 2012. The movie shows numerous examples around the globe on how organic peasant farming provides food sovereignty for millions of people and reveals the political background on how local food production is systematically being disrupted. Although the documentary doesnt explicitly mention plant-based agricultural techniques it shows several examples on how agriculture without animal inputs works (yield-wise) just as good as conventional farming: organic farming pioneer Manfred Wenz and his son Friedrich Wenz do intensive arable mulch cropping in southern Germany and speak of the importance of soil fertility (a different interview of Manfred Wenz in german language can be found here: gral.de/gralswelt/gralswelt_aktuell/interviews/15_jahre_galt_ich_als_spinner). The movie can be viewed (in German or French) in the Arte+7 media centre: arte.tv/guide/de/046210-000/die-zukunft-pflanzen or streamed on Youtube (the subtitles need to be manually set on translation to your language): youtu.be/OX5DB9EgR5w Bookmark our website for reference: biovegan.org/filmtipp-die-zukunft-pflanzen-veranstaltungstipps/
