Just as oil and water do not mix, neither does hate and love. If there are things in your life that make your blood boil, and they are related to people, it may be a good time to take a long look in the mirror, and see if that hate represents who and what God intends for us to be. I believe there is a life that brings fulfillment, it is a life of love, joy, and peace. If we seek it we will find it, we will see it and and embrace it. If we look for things and people to hate, envy, and be jealous of we will find that too, and to that end our life will be controlled. There is good reasoning as to why we pray for our enemies, it keep us from hating them. I write this because I do not like what I see coming from the Christian community. I think those outside of the church only see the hate, rejection, and self-righteousness being so loudly shouted from the church. It is time we start being doers of the word not just hearers. It will be better for us, and a witness the entire world can see. If we want the world to change, then we must change.
