Just back from Ludlow where I attempted to buy four tickets for the medieval fair. Having waited for 20 minutes while the credit card machine failed to work. Finally having made it to the desk I requested 4 tickets in advance of visiting later in the day, to avoid a long que in the evening. I was told that all members of the party had to be there to be handed their wrist bands and I could not buy them in advance ? Presumably these are medieval metal security clamps, that once on cannot be removed without bolt cutters. My verbal response, really why? Because I could pass them on to someone else (so) ? My internal response, sod it then! Really dont see the logic here as appsrently I can buy tickets, wrist bands, clamps, chastity belts, whatever on line. Amazing! And while Im having a moan, it took nearly 2 hours for an ambulance to reach a gentleman who had collapsed at the top of Corve st. I do hope he is ok.
