Just back from The Content Marketing Academy, Scotlands first content marketing conference. Met so many great people, so looking forward to the 2015 event already! For me, two of the biggest take-aways from todays event were that all businesses need to be blogging as well as maintaining a website, and that if you want to get ahead of the curve, in terms of technology adoption, this is a great time to consider starting a podcast. My own research shows that a lot of my readers/fans etc are not currently consuming podcasts, but I believe that this will all change in the near future, as this media is about to become main-stream. Car manufacturers are building in the ability to listen to podcasts into new models and it is widely tipped that users will not be able to delete the podcast app from the new i-phone. Both of these developments mean that millions of people will have easy access to podcasts, many of them for the first-time, which means that there will be a lot of curious people out there searching for their particular area of interest. ~ Alan #TCMAScotland
