Just back from a hike on Cataract Trail (Mt. Tamalpais). After a 4-month hiatus, I broke out my full backpack to start getting myself back in JMT shape. Still trying to come up with a suitable nickname for the pack. Monster & Beast seem a bit too obvious. I welcome suggestions. Heres a short clip of Cataract Creek just below Laurel Dell. Fantastic to see water flowing so energetically. Last time I was in this area, many parts of the creek were nothing bit tepid pools of Bay leaf and mosquito broth.
