Just back from a lovely dinner- great food with some great live jazz playing at the back ..but this is not what I am posting about.... On my way back I was struck- This little kid - a little beggar was leaning on my car..I gave him money..but he just didnt move.!!!. he literally conqqued off on my side mirror.. His eyes were shut... as he barely whispered .. KHAANA ..... I felt so pathetic and helpless...... the honking started, he woke up and promptly went back and handed the money to a man.. But his eyes remained half shut.. he whispered.....KHANNA ... I have decided that for all the great restaraunts I splurge on without batting an eyelid.. for all my indulgence in the most mouthwatering dishes- I will make it a point- to handover food - simple as it may be for me,..... to ONE person on the street regularly.... NO BIG STEP..TO CHANGE THE WORLD.. just a small one.. that might make one person other than me happy... I want to sleep knowing that the kid ...is not full of desperate plea but a peaceful smile every night. I am just feeling overwhelmed... with emotion
