Just back from the Vet. Dr. B. says bone cancer is not off the table for Balto, but it seems to be more of old age catching up to him very fast, especially being a big dog. He responded very well to the meds she put him on this week and today .... Balto did exceptionally well when put in the muzzle to be prodded, poked and twisted. So hopefully its his older joints and, continuing on those meds, he will have lots of time with us yet.
