Just back from the eye hospital. We had eye tests yesterday and the optician noticed one of Pauls retinas is detaching slightly. I thought bugger a referral from the GP as suggested and spoke to the hospital directly yesterday. We went this afternoon to the emergency clinic. Four and half hours later and some uncomfortable prodding for Paul and theyve confirmed the diagnosis. So we are back in tomorrow morning for either laser surgery or a surgical procedure under general anaesthetic for Paul. The surgeon who came down from surgery today to examine Paul will know which to do after some more prodding and testing tomorrow. Lovely staff at the royal Manchester Eye Hospital.
