Just back in from my bi-monthly wound care clinic visit with Dr - TopicsExpress

Just back in from my bi-monthly wound care clinic visit with Dr Soos in Elkin. He says that my hip wound is just not healing and at around 18 month post op he just can not do anything more. I am being sent to Baptist to their wound care/plastic surgeon team. This is really not what I wanted, I prefer Forsyth 100%, but my insurance would not cover the private care. I can not believe that I risk my life day in and day out as an RN against infections and diseases to help people, yet now when I am the patient I have no choice. I guess I will not complain and just be grateful that I have insurance! That is my rant for the day. Please keep me in your prayers as I move forward with this issue. It has been a long hard road, and God has seen me through some really rough times. I do not know how people live without Him.
