Just because I have not posted my daily thanksgivings doesnt mean that I am not thankful EVERY SINGLE DAY. So to post for today (and everyday) I am thankful for the children in my life. The daughter I gave birth to Sarah Cheyenne Chaney who brings me joy and pride and the pleasure (eyes rolling) of raising a teenager, the kids I helped raise Hans Chaney and Kathryn Chaney Behrens who having been teaching me how to be a mom since 1997. They have challenged me, loved me, trusted me, hurt my feelings and filled me with joy and I wouldnt trade a minute of it. And Tiffany Chaney Yarbrough you brought challenges and victories too and definately taught me about being thrown in to the deep end of the pool by marrying a man with a teenage daughter. YIKES -- you scared the crap out of me then but Im nothing but proud of you now. All of you are amazing parents (EXCEPT CHEYENNE) to children that will become even better and brighter than you and your heart will burst with pride at every milestone reached and the tears will fall when you can no longer protect them from the consequences of their own actions and failures. We all fail, be the parents I know you are and lift those babbies up when they fall and push them on, never give up. I love each of you. Tiffany, Chad and Austin; Hans, Mandy and Caden, Kathryn, Kenny and Izabelle Grace. The new generation learn all you can about the new but never forget the old roots where you come from.
