Just because it looks good doesnt mean that it is good to often in life we place value on the wrong things and the things that are truly valueable in this life we take for granted! We live in a judgemental and materialistic age and to often we let peoples thoughts and opinions of us dictate who we are instead of aspiring to be who we truly are regardless of the feedback of others, to often we allow our possessions to possess us, we let what we have and dont have control our emotions and dictate our happiness so why is it a surprise that so many people are unhappy with the relationships and situations going on in their lives in matthew 6:21 the word tells us that where your treasure is there will your heart be also so if you give value to things that fade and break away with time inevitably you will end up disappointed and broken hearted so be careful of the things you give value to and though its a plus to be rich it means nothing if your not rich in quality and character as well! The bible tells us that earthly riches can choke the word of god out of us God made man, his greatest creation, from the dust of the ground and the devil who once upon a time was perfect in beauty nd covered in every precious stone and i say that to say this if valuables and things of beauty can corrupt and cloud the mind of an angel anyone can lose sight of the things that truly matter! Diamonds are beautiful but they can be blinding too!
